There has been significant progress in the treatment of people diagnosed with blood cancers over the past 50 years. Our leadership has advanced transformative therapies for hematologic malignancies, and we are committed to continuing to lead in the evolution of our understanding and treatment of these diseases. Multiple Myeloma
Survival outcomes in multiple myeloma have significantly improved thanks to decades of treatment advances. With more than half of the 11 innovative therapies approved for its treatment in the past two decades, Johnson & Johnson has helped transform patients’ lives with numerous approved innovative treatments. We aim to develop curative therapies, with urgency, and shifting the treatment paradigm from “treat-to-progression” to “treat-to-cure”.
Amyloidosis
Amyloidosis is a rare and serious disease in which amyloid protein build up on organs and tissues can lead to life-threatening organ failure. We are focused on understanding whether standard of care plus a new, subcutaneous version of an existing therapy for other hematologic malignancies will benefit patients.
B-cell malignancies
More than a decade ago, we co-developed and delivered a globally approved, first-in-class treatment for certain B-cell malignancies, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, previously treated mantle cell lymphoma, Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, and previously treated marginal zone lymphoma.
Myeloid malignancies
We are committed to bringing forth new treatment options for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myclodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and have advanced a comprehensive development program with novel bispecific approaches as well as other novel targets with transformational potential.
