Cancer remains a leading cause of death globally. In 2022 alone, 20 million people worldwide were diagnosed with cancer, and almost 10 million died of the disease. With more than a three-decade legacy in oncology innovation, our commitment to pioneer new therapeutic advances for patients with cancer has never been stronger.
Bladder Cancer
Despite the commonness of bladder cancer and its high cost to treat, little has changed in the standard of care in 40 years. We recognize the urgency to advance science and develop innovative, bladder-sparing treatment options to redefine what a bladder cancer diagnosis means for patients. Within bladder cancer, we are exploring how a personalized and targeted approach to care could transform patient outcomes long term.
Lung Cancer
Johnson & Johnson is transforming the trajectory of lung cancer by advancing important innovations and accelerating the development of new applications for this deadly disease. Our strategy is built on recognizing the inherent heterogeneity of lung cancer and developing therapies for novel targets based on the unique biology of disease subgroups. By leveraging our extensive oncology experience, we have capabilities across a wide array of modalities, including small molecules, multi-specifics, antibody drug conjugates and radioligand therapeutics.
